YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. In April 2025, a new historical record of jobs provided with salaries was registered in Armenia – 783,547, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

“Compared to April 2018, this figure increased by 242,119 or 44.7%,” he said on Wednesday during the parliamentary discussions of the report on the implementation of the state budget for 2024.

Noting that in April 2018 the average salary in Armenia was 173,996 drams, the Prime Minister said that in April 2025 this figure will be 304,992 drams, with an increase of 75.

According to him, in April 2025 the gross salary fund of all employees was approximately 239 billion drams against 94.2 billion drams in April 2018, an increase of 153%.

“Those who received a competitive education receive high salaries, mainly by about 80-90%,” Pashinyan noted. ($1 - 383.86 drams) -0-
