The number of active taxpayers in Armenia has reached the historical maximum of more than 651,000 people, the head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Rustam Badasyan told a parliament discussion today on 2022 draft budget.

YEREVAN, November 2. /ARKA/. The number of active taxpayers in Armenia has reached the historical maximum of more than 651,000 people, the head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Rustam Badasyan told a parliament discussion today on 2022 draft budget.

"According to the latest data for September 2021, the number of people included in the list of active taxpayers is 651,141. This is an exceptional record in history: the country has never had so many active taxpayers," he said.

Badasyan stressed that the total tax base for September 2021 amounted to about 145.3 billion drams. The head of the State Revenue Service noted also an increase in tax revenues collected in January-October 2021 by 12.7% or 144 billion drams compared to the same period in 2020.
