YEREVAN, April 19. /ARKA/. One thousand largest corporate taxpayers in Armenia paid more than 327.7 billion drams in various taxes and duties in the first quarter of 2022, according to the State Revenue Committee (SRC).

It said more than 278.3 billion drams were collected by tax authorities and more than 48.7 billion drams by customs authorities.

The list is topped by Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine with 35.4 billion drams. The national natural gas distribution company Gazprom Armenia is second with 21 billion drams and the Armenian Defense Ministry's Office is third with about 8.6 billion drams.

The list of the top ten largest companies by size of paid taxes includes also Grand Tobacco (about 7.9bln drams), International Masis Tabak (about 5.9bln drams), Flash oil trader (about 3.85bln drams), Teghut copper mining company (about 3.83bln drams), Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Plant (3.6bln drams), Electric Networks of Armenia (about 3.5bln drams) and Soft Contract (about 3.1bln) drams.

The list is compiled based on the criteria established by the government. In particular, it includes state and community management agencies. ($1 - 471.35 drams). -0-
