YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. Over the past five years, the number of job seekers and unemployed in Armenia has almost halved, and these figures continue to decline, reported Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan.
"When we talk about new job creation and demonstrate steady growth in this indicator in recent months, this often creates some incomprehensible noise. The statistics on job creation are also confirmed by the reduction in the number of job seekers and the unemployed," Torosyan wrote on his Facebook page.
According to the Unified Social Service, in 2025, the number of job seekers in Armenia amounted to 46,508 people, and the number of unemployed was 32,974, compared to 86,396 and 58,173 people, respectively, in 2021.
