Over 17,000 transactions with immovable property registered in Armenia in October 2012

Some 17,413 transactions with real estate were registered in Armenia in October – 34.4% more than in September and 9.3% more than in the previous year’s October, Armenia’s Real Estate Cadastre reported today.
YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. Some 17,413 transactions with real estate were registered in Armenia in October – 34.4% more than in September and 9.3% more than in the previous year’s October, Armenia’s Real Estate Cadastre reported today.
Yerevan accounted for the greatest number of transactions with immovable property and for 37.8% of all the deals concluded in Armenia in October, and Vayots Dzor province for the smallest number and 1.7%.
According to the cadastre’s report, 11.5 percent of the total number of Armenia’s immovable property transactions in October was registered in Kotayk province, 5% in Lori, 4.9% in Gegharkunik, 8.8% in Armavir, 5.2% in Shirak, 6.3% in Aragatsotn, 11% in Ararat, 3.5% in Tavush and 4.3% in Syunik.
Immovable property alienation transactions made up 26.2% of all the transactions with real estate registered in Armenia in October, primary registration transactions 13.4%, immovable property inheritance 11.8%, mortgage 12% and leasing 5.3%.
Other registrations constituted 31.3% of the total number.
Remarkable is that no real estate privatization deals were registered in October in the country.-0-
