YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. Over 1,000 administrative actions taken against drivers were cancelled by Armenia’s traffic police after verification in the last three months, deputy head of the traffic police Armen Khachatryan told reporters on Thursday.

Citizens have received notification of cancellation before they file a complaint, Khachatryan said.

The police are making every effort to improve the system and minimize the human and the technical factors in taking administrative actions and penalizing, said Arman Chilingaryan, head of legal department at the traffic police.

Instructed by the chief of Armenia’s Police Vladimir Gasparyan, weekly meetings will be held with mass media to clarify on police-related issues, said Ashot Aharonyan, head of public relations at the police. –0--
