The Armenian National Assembly on Tuesday has elected a new member of the Chamber of Accounts.

YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/. The Armenian National Assembly on Tuesday has elected a new member of the Chamber of Accounts.

The new member of the country's highest financial control authority is Gagik Barseghyan, who currently works as coordinating expert of the budget bureau of the National Assembly. He was nominated by the ruling Civil Contract party.

During the secret ballot he was backed by 67 MPs. Five lawmakers voted against.-0-
