Pashinyan and members of American Chamber of Commerce discuss stimulating investment and improving business environment

YEREVAN, June 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a working breakfast on Monday with members of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Armenia that represents companies from various sectors of the economy.
Economic policy issues were discussed, including stimulating investment, improving the business environment, tax regulation, and ongoing reforms, according to the press service of the government.
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of such meetings, calling them a good opportunity to discuss all issues of mutual interest. In this way, he said, a specific agenda for further cooperation between the Armenian government and members of the American Chamber of Commerce is being formed.
The prime minister noted that economic relations with the US are of strategic importance for Armenia, and the Chamber can play an important role in this process.
AmCham President Elina Margaryan thanked the Armenian government for supporting institutional dialogue with the private sector and stressed the importance of strengthening further cooperation.
During the meeting, the main areas of the Chamber's activities were presented, with an emphasis on its mission to serve as a bridge between the government and the business community.
The parties stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue and confirmed their readiness to cooperate closely in order to strengthen Armenia's economic sustainability and increase its international competitiveness.-0-
