YEREVAN, August 7. /ARKA/. Armenia supports adherence to the principles that underlie the EAEU, stated RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"One of the fundamental principles of the EAEU is ensuring the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor. Unfortunately, in practice, these principles are not fully implemented: certain restrictions and administrative measures continue to hinder the full functioning of the common market, reducing the predictability of business conditions and the effectiveness of integration processes," he said at an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan.
In this regard, Pashinyan emphasized the need to promptly eliminate emerging barriers and prevent the deterioration of trade and economic relations within the EAEU.
"We must minimize reputational and business risks and consistently strengthen mutual trust," he emphasized.
As Pashinyan noted, it should also be acknowledged that in a number of areas, the strategic goals set have not yet been fully achieved.
"This means that today we need to focus on discussing not only new initiatives, but also the practical implementation of decisions already made, accelerating conciliation procedures, and improving the efficiency of EAEU institutions," he said.
