YEREVAN, April 1. /ARKA/. Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, announced good growth rates in Armenian-Russian economic cooperation.
"The economy is developing well. While the year before last, Armenian-Russian trade turnover was $11 billion, last year, in 2025, it was $6.4 billion, of which $1.5 billion were agricultural products: vegetables, fruits, wine—things Armenia exports," the Russian president said in a conversation with Pashinyan.
He noted that Russia's trade turnover with neighboring Azerbaijan was less than $5 billion, at $4.9 billion. "That's saying something," Putin emphasized.
"Some things are, in my opinion, very important for our relations – energy, for example," the Russian president noted.
