YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. The Armenian Market Supervision Authority (AMSA) conducted inspections at CITY LLC supermarkets.

According to the regulator's press service, a random inspection of the toys was conducted, which revealed that the "Bear," "Monster," and "Unicorn" (Slimer) toys sold contained substances hazardous to children's health.

Armen Kotolyan, head of the inspectorate, ordered the suspension of sales, removal, and destruction of the products.

"The inspectorate recommends that consumers who purchased the aforementioned toys contact the inspectorate and return them to prevent possible harm to children's health," the statement read.

The inspections also revealed that the company

- sells a large number of imported and locally purchased goods, as well as tobacco products and their substitutes, without conformity assessment documents and labeling;

- uses some electronic scales without calibration.
