Regulator suspended operations at one of the Aygek Poultry Farm's production facilities due to non-compliance with hygiene standards

Employees of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia conducted an inspection of the poultry processing and repackaging facility at Aygek Poultry Farm LLC (Armavir Region, Aygek village).
YEREVAN, September 26. /ARKA/. Employees of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia conducted an inspection of the poultry processing and repackaging facility at Aygek Poultry Farm LLC (Armavir Region, Aygek village).
The sanitary and hygienic conditions at the facility did not comply with established legal standards.
Thus:
- the layout, design, and equipment of the production facility did not ensure a flow organization that prevented the intersection of food raw materials and products, contaminated and clean equipment;
- the facility was not equipped with natural or mechanical ventilation;
- the door to the building's restroom opened into the production facility;
- there was no handwashing sink;
- by-product preparation was not performed in separate rooms;
- the equipment and inventory did not allow for cleaning and disinfection;
- some equipment, tools, accessories, and containers were not in good working order and clean, and were not properly cleaned and disinfected.
Operation of the poultry processing and repackaging facility has been suspended until the identified violations are rectified.
