YEREVAN, October 23. /ARKA/. Russia and Iran have agreed to zero customs duties on imported goods from the two countries by March 2024. Kambiz Merkazemi, a member of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce, said.

"With the development of commercial relations between Iran and Eurasian Economic Union's member countries, the issue of operators in the field of customs, tariffs and competitive market will be solved by the end March 2024," he said, TASS reported citing IRNA.

He explained that the solution to such problems is "settlements in national currencies, as well as free trade and opening Iran's customs borders with Russia, Armenia and Belarus."

Merkazemi also noted that the infrastructure for the realization of the free trade agreement is being built "at a rapid pace" due to the high level of understanding between Iranian and Russian negotiators. --0--
