YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Russia introduced a ban Tuesday on importing g ready-to-eat pork products from Moldova, assistant to head of Russia’s agricultural inspectorate Aleksey Alekseyenko told RIA.

Earlier the inspectorate found many cases of imports from the EU countries under the guise of Moldavian products. The inspectorate reported also about prevention of pork smuggling from the EU under the guise of transit from Latvia to Ukraine, Prime says.

Pork exports from all EU countries to Russia are currently banned due to outbreak of African swine fever in Lithuania and Poland. –0--
