YEREVAN, December 29. /ARKA/. According to preliminary estimates, Armenian tax authorities are expected to collect this year about 1.65 trillion drams, up from projected 1.38 trillion drams, finance minister Gagik Khachatryan said today. According to him, the expected tax revenues are almost by one billion drams more than in 2014.

Khachatryan said tax collection rate was affected by economic factors, such as legislative changes, designed to provide tax incentives, a decline in prices for some products in international markets, foreign exchange fluctuations, the passivity of exporters due to the devaluation of the Russian ruble and the strengthening of USD.

He said all these factors had a negative impact on sales volumes, limiting economic activity by year-end. However, implementation of a set of administrative measures prevented significant deviations in the revenue collection and spending, he added. ($ 1 - 482.5 drams). -0-
