YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. In October 2025, inflation in Armenia was recorded at 3.7% compared to October 2024, with a monthly rise of 0.3%. This information comes from the Statistical Committee of Armenia (Armstat).
In October 2025, food products and non-alcoholic beverages saw a price increase of 5.6% compared to October 2024, with a monthly rise of 0.7%.
In October, the prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 6.8% year-over-year, and by 0.2% compared to September of this year. In October 2024, clothing and footwear prices fell by 0.9% (with a month-on-month increase of 2.2%), while utility prices rose by 0.6% (down 0.7% month-on-month).
Prices for household goods, appliances, and daily apartment maintenance increased by 0.9% year-on-year in October and by 0.1% month-on-month. In October, healthcare sector prices rose by 3.5% year-on-year (up 0.1% month-on-month), transportation sector prices increased by 4.9% (down 0.1% month-on-month), communication sector prices rose by 0.7% year-on-year (up 0.2% month-on-month), recreation and culture prices increased by 2.4% (up 1.1% month-on-month), education prices rose by 8.3% (unchanged month-on-month), restaurant and hotel prices increased by 2.1% (down 0.1% month-on-month), and prices for various goods and services rose by 1.8% year-on-year in October (down 0.4% month-on-month).
Simultaneously, statistics indicate that non-food market prices increased by 0.9% in October this year compared to October last year, and by 0.4% compared to September of the same year.
Additionally, utility tariffs for the population rose by 2.9% year-on-year in October 2025, while a month-on-month decline of 0.3% was noted.
