YEREVAN, June 12. /ARKA/. One of the most prestigious wine competitions in the world, the 33rd Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, will be held in Armenia for the first time, said Zara Muradyan, director of the Armenian Viticulture and Winemaking Foundation.

"This is a historic moment for our country. We are ready to welcome the world: both the warm-hearted people and the most respected professionals in the wine industry. Armenia, with its ancient wine heritage and boundless hospitality, is opening its doors with love and pride," Muradyan wrote on Facebook.

Having thanked the organizers of the competition for choosing Armenia, she stressed that the republic is ready for this event.
