YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/. The second extension program for the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) will begin in a few days, extending its operation until 2036. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan announced this at a meeting of the National Assembly of Armenia's Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
"A loan of 63.2 billion drams has been allocated from the state budget for the NPP," Khudatyan said.
He recalled that the first extension program for the second power unit of the NPP until 2026 is currently ongoing.
