YEREVAN, October 14. /ARKA/. Within two weeks, the entire batch of 171 new 8.5-meter buses and 15 trolleybuses purchased in 2024 with community funds will be in Yerevan, the capital's mayor Tigran Avinyan told journalists.

Avinyan showed the press the first 20 new buses and 10 trolleybuses from this batch, brought in the day before, located on Shahumyan square.

“These buses are from the same manufacturer as those previously purchased and already used in Yerevan, but of a different brand and with some upgrades,” Avinyan added.

According to him, in order to complete the Yerevan transport reform, it is necessary to purchase only 150-200 more buses. "Thus, we will be able to close the issue of replenishing the bus fleet," the mayor said. -0-
