YEREVAN, March 13, /ARKA/. The 12th international specialized trade fair "Caucasus: Construction and Repair Expo 2015" has kicked off today in Yerevan.

Organized by LOGOS EXPO Center together with the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen of Armenia the fair features the products and services of around 80 companies from Armenia, Iran, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and some other countries.

The exhibition's aim is to search for new markets, attract foreign investments in the Armenian economy, demonstrate the economic potential of the country and look for new business partners. About 20% of participating companies are foreign companies, LOGOS EXPO said.

Official support is provided by the ministries of economy, urban development, Union of Builders, Union of Designers and the Union of Architects.

Over the last 15 years LOGOS EXPO Center has organized more than 200 specialized and international exhibitions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony urban planning minister Narek Sargsyan said the government is taking serious measures to boost construction sector. Arsen Ghazaryan, chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen of Armenia, said the sector needs a breakthrough to support the economic growth in the country.
