Armenian and Turkmen government officials will discuss development of bilateral relations in Yerevan in late April, prime minister Karen Karapetyan said during a Cabinet session today.
YEREVAN, April 6. /ARKA/. Armenian and Turkmen government officials will discuss development of bilateral relations in Yerevan in late April, prime minister Karen Karapetyan said during a Cabinet session today.
According to him, a Turkmen government delegation will arrive in Armenia in the second half of April to participate in the meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on economic issues.
"I have information that they are thoroughly preparing for this meeting," Karapetyan said.
In connection with this, he instructed the Armenian co-chairman of the commission, energy infrastructure and natural resources minister Ashot Manukyan to summarize all the materials, specify the terms of the visit and the agenda of the discussions.
Within the framework of Karapetyan's visit to Turkmenistan at the end of March, the sides agreed to stimulate the growth of bilateral trade turnover, and step up cooperation in energy, transport, agriculture, engineering and industry sector.-0-
