UAE businessmen keen on investment programs in Armenia – ambassador

Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates are keen to implement investment programs in Armenia, the newly appointed UAE ambassador to Armenia Jassim Mohammed Al Qasimi said at his meeting with Armenia’s premier Hovik Abrahamyan, the press office of the Armenian government reported.

YEREVAN, May 19. /ARKA/. Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates are keen to implement investment programs in Armenia, the newly appointed UAE ambassador to Armenia Jassim Mohammed Al Qasimi said at his meeting with Armenia’s premier Hovik Abrahamyan, the press office of the Armenian government reported.
The possible investments are currently discussed with Armenia’s ministry of economy, the press office said.
Abrahamyan stressed the importance of intensifying the activities of the inter-state commission to facilitate development of business ties and inter-governmental cooperation.
Al Qasimi, in his turn, said his country attached importance to development of relations with Armenia and to implementation of joint programs.
The sides said agriculture, energy sector, IT and tourism were the most promising fields for bilateral cooperation. –0—
