YEREVAN, May 2. /ARKA/. The World Bank expects Armenia's economy to grow by 4% in 2025 and by 4.2% in 2026. This forecast is contained in the World Bank's ECA Economic Update, Spring 2025.

In the World Bank's Global Economic Prospects, January 2025, the forecast for Armenia's economic growth in 2025 was 5% and in 2026 - 4.6%. Thus, the current forecast has been downgraded by 1 p.p. and 0.4 p.p., respectively.

Figures and forecasts for the Armenian economy

The state budget for 2025 envisages economic growth in Armenia at 5.1%. According to the Central Bank's report on monetary policy for the first quarter of this year, by the end of 2025, Armenia's GDP growth is expected to be within 7-4.8%, in 2026 - 4.7-4.1%, in 2027 - 4.7-6.1%.

The EDB forecasts Armenia's GDP growth at 5.5% in 2025. The WB expects Armenia's economy to grow by 4% in 2025, the IMF - by 4.5%, the EBRD - by 4.8%, and the ADB - by 6%. According to the forecast of Fitch Ratings, the Armenian economy will grow by 4.9% in 2025, and the UN expects the Armenian economy to grow by 5.2% in 2025 and by 4.7% in 2026. ($1 - 389.56 drams)
