YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. The World Bank expects that the Armenian economy will grow by 4% in 2025, by 4.2% in 2026, and by 4.5% in 2027. This forecast is contained in the World Bank's June report "Global Economic Prospects" (June 2025).

Recall that the World Bank's report on the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region "Recent Economic Developments" (ECA Economic Update, Spring 2025) published in May of this year contained similar forecasts for the Armenian economy for the current and next years.

And in the January report of the World Bank "Global Economic Prospects" (January 2025), the forecast for economic growth in Armenia in 2025 was 5%, and in 2026 - 4.6%. Thus, the June forecast was worsened by 1 p.p. and 0.4 p.p., respectively.

Figures and forecasts for the Armenian economy

The economic growth of Armenia in the state budget for 2025 is envisaged at 5.1%. According to the Central Bank's report on monetary policy for the first quarter of this year, by the end of 2025, Armenia's GDP growth is expected to be within 7-4.8%, in 2026 - 4.7-4.1%, in 2027 - 4.7-6.1%.

The EDB predicts Armenia's GDP growth of 5.5% in 2025. The World Bank expects Armenia's economy to grow by 4% in 2025, the IMF by 4.5%, the EBRD by 5%, and the ADB by 6%. According to the forecast of the Fitch Ratings agency, Armenia's economy will grow by 4.9% in 2025, and the UN expects the Armenian economy to grow by 5.2% in 2025. ($1 - 383.54 drams) -0-
