Yerevan mayor and EBRD vice-president discussed in London perspectives of cooperation expansion

YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. Prospects of expanding cooperation between the Armenian capital and the EBRD were discussed by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinian and EBRD Vice President Matteo Patrone at a meeting in London.
“They discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation with the EBRD in the areas of modernization of urban transport and metro, solid waste management, urban lighting and in other spheres,” Avinian wrote in a social media post.
Yerevan Mayor is on a working visit to London to attend the EBRD Annual Meeting.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is one of the leading institutional investors in Armenia. The Bank's main priorities in Armenia include enhancing the competitiveness of companies and supporting financial sector intermediation through risk-sharing products.
