YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Chinese Vice Premier Chang Guoqin discussed a set of issues of bilateral economic cooperation at a meeting in Brussels today, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

The interlocutors attached importance to the realization of joint steps to increase the volume of trade turnover, the press service said. The sides touched upon the possibilities of unblocking infrastructure in the South Caucasus region. Pashinyan presented the Armenian government's "Crossroads of Peace" project.

According to the Armenian National Statistical Committee, the trade turnover between Armenia and China totaled $199.2 million in January 2024, up 40.3% compared to January 023.

Armenian exports grew 2.3 times to $94.4 million, while imports totaled $57.5 million with an 18.4% increase. -0-
