Armenian military authorities have identified two career army officers who were killed in a car accident involving also defense minister Vigen Sargsyan.
YEREVAN, December 8. /ARКА/. Armenian military authorities have identified two career army officers who were killed in a car accident involving also defense minister Vigen Sargsyan.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said they are Lieutenant Armen Mosikyan (the driver) and a security officer, captain Aleksan Simonyan. According to sources of Novosti Armenia news agency, the minister was not injured.
Shamshyan.com said the accident occurred in the southern Armenian region of Syunik at about 11:40 am.
The Lexus was said to leave the carriageway, turned over and rolled about 40 meters into a ravine.
Novosti-Armenia tried to contact the press secretary of the Armenian defense minister Artsrun Hovhanisyan, who was out of reach .-- 0--
