An earthquake of 2.6 magnitude occurred today in the west of Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
YEREVAN, July 2. /ARKA/. An earthquake of 2.6 magnitude occurred today in the west of Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
It said the earthquake was registered at 6.11 by the Seismological Service 3 km south-east of the village of Marmarashen in Ararat province.
The epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 10 km. Its force in the epicenter was 3 points on Richter scale.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Artashat, in the villages of Dvin, Marmarashen and Araksavan.
