YEREVAN, July 24. /ARKA/. Armenian rescuers have recovered the body of a man in the northwestern region of Shirak, presumed to have drowned while swimming in the Karnut water reservoir. The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the body was recovered at about 14:20.

The man, born in 1981, had been reported missing in the early minutes of July 24. He was said to have gone to the Karnut reservoir.

Rescuers found the clothes of the missing man on the eastern shore of the artificial lake, but had to cease the search at approximately 03:03 am due to the darkness and weather conditions. They resumed the search in the morning. -0-
