“Gazprom-Armenia” to invest about 143 billion drams in 2025-2029

The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia has approved the investment program of “Gazprom-Armenia” CJSC for 2025-2029.

YEREVAN, December 26. /ARKA/. The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia has approved the investment program of “Gazprom-Armenia” CJSC for 2025-2029.

According to the PSRC, following the review of the company's application, it was decided to reduce the investment program by 981.84 million drams — from the initially requested 144 billion 27.51 million drams (excluding VAT) to 143 billion 45.67 million drams.

The key areas of the investment program include the expansion of the Abovyan underground natural gas storage facility, the restoration and reconstruction of the gas transmission system, the connection of new subscribers, and other work in the gas distribution system.

On gas supplies from the Russian Federation to Armenia:

CJSC “Gazprom-Armenia” is a 100% subsidiary of the Russian energy holding PJSC Gazprom, the sole supplier of gas from the Russian Federation to Armenia for domestic consumption.

The supplies of Russian "blue fuel" are delivered by “Gazprom-Armenia” through transit across Georgia. The price of Russian gas for Armenia (at the border) is $165 per 1,000 cubic meters ($1 = 396.06 drams).
