YEREVAN, November 14. /ARКА/. Armenia is in the process of developing a written regulatory framework for the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, as stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"The initial phase of establishing this framework is the Washington Declaration, which defines the overarching parameters. This will be succeeded by the formation of a legal entity in collaboration with the United States," he mentioned during the "Crossroads of Peace: Developing Regional Communications" conference on Friday.
The Prime Minister indicated that the Board of Directors responsible for overseeing this company will consist of members from both Armenia and the United States.
"The allocation of the Board of Directors will be contingent upon the shares, which are still under discussion," Pashinyan remarked.
He further highlighted that in matters of strategic significance, Armenian representatives will hold a decisive vote; this is a crucial aspect to acknowledge and document. The Prime Minister also pointed out that several issues require further discussion, including financial resources and the management structure.
"We also need to consider which third parties may be involved in the project and the terms of their participation. Additionally, scenarios that could pose potential risks to Armenia are being evaluated," he added.-0-
