Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan and Turkish presidential envoy Ambassador Unal Chevikyoz met today to discuss President Abdullah Gul’s forthcoming visit to Yerevan.
YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan and Turkish presidential envoy Ambassador Unal Chevikyoz met today to discuss President Abdullah Gul’s forthcoming visit to Yerevan.
Armenia’s President Serge Sargsian has invited his Turkish counterpart to the September 6 Armenia-Turkey World Cup qualifying match in Yerevan.
During the meeting, the Turkish Ambassador and Foreign Minister touched upon regional security issues. Nalbandyan assured the Turksih envoy Armenia is ready to contribute to sustainable development and stability in the South Caucasus.
Nalbandyan and Chevikyoz shared views on topical regional issues. Z. Sh. –0--
