YEREVAN, June 7, /ARKA/. Russian ambassador to Armenia, Vyacheslav Kovalenko, emphasized boosting of closer relations between Armenia and Russian provinces. Speaking at a round table on the Armenian-Russian cooperation and regional problems, organized in Yerevan by the ruling Armenian Republican Party and the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies (RISS), he said there is still a great untapped reserve for Armenia and Russian provinces to develop mutually beneficial ties.
To achieve greater success, he said both sides should expand their knowledge about each other’s markets and potentials. The ambassador, pointed out, particularly, joint Armenian-Russian projects for introduction of new technologies.
“Russia helped establish a nanotechnology center in Yerevan, which has close contacts with Russian research centers.
