Armenian –Slovenia relations expanding: Serzh Sargsyan

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan who is paying an official visit to Slovenia, met April 13 with the president of the National Assembly of Slovenia Pavel Gantar, saying the range of bilateral relations was expanding, Sargsyan’s press service reported.
YEREVAN, April 14. / ARKA /. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan who is paying an official visit to Slovenia, met April 13 with the president of the National Assembly of Slovenia Pavel Gantar, saying the range of bilateral relations was expanding, Sargsyan’s press service reported.
The Armenian president was quoted as expressing his satisfaction with the political dialogue between the two countries saying also that considerable progress has been made in Armenian-Slovenian interstate relations.
Serzh Sargsyan said there was still much to do in developing inter-parliamentary ties between the two states, which he said are an irreplaceable component in bilateral relationships. The President attached also importance to establishment of parliamentary friendship groups in the parliaments of Armenia and Slovenia.
President Sargsyan also met with Slovenian prime minister Borut Pahor in Ljubljana to discuss economic reforms underway in both countries. The tow men spoke also about their governments’ measures aiming to tackle economic crisis.
Ending his first day of the visit to Slovenia Serzh Sargsyan was o hosted by mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovic. After the meeting they took a walk in the city to see its historical and cultural sites. -0-
