Finish prime minister impressed by Armenian reforms

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is in Poland to attend an official plenary session of the EU-supported Eastern Partnership program, met Thursday with Finland’s prime minister Jyrki Katainen, Serzh Sargsyan’s press office reported.
YEREVAN, September 30. / ARKA /. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is in Poland to attend an official plenary session of the EU-supported Eastern Partnership program, met Thursday with Finland’s prime minister Jyrki Katainen, Serzh Sargsyan’s press office reported.

It said president Sargsyan and prime minister Katainen discussed ways to boost Armenian-Finnish relations and enlargement of bilateral cooperation. Katainen was quoted as saying that reforms being carried out in Armenia are impressive.

The interlocutors also reflected on developing cooperation within international organizations.  President Sargsyan will also meet with Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.  -0-
