Vladimir Karapetyan has been appointed Press Secretary of the RA Foreign Office, the Press and Information Department, RA Foreign Office, reports.
YEREVAN, August 6. /ARKA/. Vladimir Karapetyan has been appointed Press Secretary of the RA Foreign Office, the Press and Information Department, RA Foreign Office, reports.
Vladimir Karapetyan was born on July 5, 1969. In 1993, he graduated from the Department of Oriental Studies, Yerevan State University.
He started his diplomatic activities as attaché of the CIS Department in 1994. In 1996-1997, he worked as Second Secretary at the RA Embassy in Ukraine.
In 1997-2001, Karapetyan worked as Second Secretary of the CIS Department, Head of the CIS Department and Head of the Security Cooperation Division, Department for Political and Military Affairs.
In 2001-2004, Karapetyan worked as Advisor at the RA Embassy in Georgia. After returning to Armenia, he worked as Head of the Division for Relations with Mass Media, Press and Information Department, RA Foreign Office. Since 2006, he has been Head of the Press and Information Department, RA Foreign Office.
As a member of Armenia’s delegations, Vladimir Karapetyan took part in dozens of official and official visits, international conferences and forums.
He attended a number of retraining courses abroad. In 2005, he attended 5-month courses of the Rome Defense College.
