Armenian president to visit Belgium

The RA presidential press service reports that the RA President is scheduled to hold meetings with Chairman of the Belgian Senate Arman de Decker, and Speaker of the Belgian Parliament Herman van Rompoui.
YEREVAN, October 8. /ARKA/. RA President Robert Kocharyan is to go on a three-day working visit to Belgium on October 9.
The RA presidential press service reports that the RA President is scheduled to hold meetings with Chairman of the Belgian Senate Arman de Decker, and Speaker of the Belgian Parliament Herman van Rompoui.
The Armenian President is also to make a speech at an Armenian-Belgian business forum to be held at the royal club Cercle de Lorraine.
Armenia’s leader is also scheduled to hold meetings President of the European Commission Jose Lui Manuel Barrozo, Vice-President, Commissioner for Justice Fratini, Secretary General of the European Union Javier Solana, EU Foreign Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Valdner, EU Commissioner for Culture and Education Jan Figueli, EU Commissioner for Trade Peter Mandelson.
During his visit, President Kocharyan is to hold a private meeting with Speaker of the European Parliament Hans Pottering.
The RA President is also to meet with representatives of the Armenian community in Belgium.
The Armenian delegation includes Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan, Head of the presidential staff
Armen Gevorgyan, Minister of Finance and Economy Vardan Khachatryan, Minister of Trade and Economic Development Nerses Yeritsyan, Armenian Ambassador to Belgium Vigen Chitechyan, Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for European Integration Avet Adonts, other officials and journalists.
