Armenian president satisfied with Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation

RA President Robert Kocharyan has expressed his satisfaction with the level of Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation.
YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. RA President Robert Kocharyan has expressed his satisfaction with the level of Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation.

At his meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister the RA President made a high appraisal of the bilateral cooperation. He pointed out that the traditional ties, common cultural and spiritual values bring the two nations together even more, reports the RA presidential press service.

The sides discussed the entire range of Armenian-Bulgarian relations, emphasizing the importance of further intensification of economic partnership. Kocharyan and Stanishev also discussed the possibility of bilateral cooperation within the EU New Neighborhood policy.

The Bulgarian Premier stressed this is his first official visit to Armenia over the last 15 years, which is a manifestation of the Bulgarian Government’s good will to refresh the content of bilateral relations.

The Bulgarian Premier pointed out a special role of the Armenian community in the development of Armenian-Bulgarian relations. He stressed that representatives of the Armenian community are fully integrated into Bulgarian society and play a great role in various spheres of the country’s life.

The sides also discussed cultural cooperation. They pointed out that an arrangement about the organization of Days of Bulgarian Culture in 2008 by analogy with the Days of Armenian Culture in Bulgaria in 2004. –0—
