Leader of the People’s Party of Armenia Tigran Karapetian has voted for freedom and justice in his motherland.
YEREVAN, February 19. /ARKA/. Leader of the People’s Party of Armenia Tigran Karapetian has voted for freedom and justice in his motherland.
The presidential candidate was quoted as saying in his district polling station N4/32: “Today I am voting for independent and just Armenia so as to prevent any violence in the future.”
Karapetian was accompanied by his four year-old son Sasha. The candidate believes one should vote for the country’s future together with family members.
140 citizens of 1,859 eligible to vote had gone to polls in the district station N4/32 by 10:30.
Representatives of the CIS observers and Your Choice NGO are observing the polling station.
Today, on February 19, 2008, Armenia is voting for a new president. All the 1,923 polling stations in the country are open from 8:00 to 20:00. –0--
