38 electoral dispute petitions filed to Armenian courts as of 3:00 p.m.

The Armenian courts received 38 petitions on inaccuracies found in the voters’ lists during the first seven hours of the presidential election voting, Press Secretary of the Court of Cassation Alina Yengoyan reported.
YEREVAN, February 19. /ARKA/. The Armenian courts received 38 petitions on inaccuracies found in the voters’ lists during the first seven hours of the presidential election voting, Press Secretary of the Court of Cassation Alina Yengoyan reported.

26 complaints were filed to the court in the Lori region (all of them were satisfied), one in Syunik (it was turned down), six in the capital’s Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun districts (all of them were turned down), one in Ajapnyan and Davtashen (it is being considered now), and three in Avan and Nor-Nork (all them were satisfied).

No electoral dispute petitions were received by the Administrative Court as of 3:00 p.m.

Presidential elections started in Armenia at 8:00 a.m., February 19. Nine candidates are running for the presidential post. All the 1,923 polling stations are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.–0--
