YEREVAN, November 12. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan discussed the possibilities of bilateral economic cooperation at a meeting with Benjamin Dousa, Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, in Stockholm yesterday.

"The interlocutors discussed ways to stimulate trade within the framework of the political dialogue between the two countries. They agreed to work together to strengthen business ties, including by encouraging investments," the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The meeting also addressed democratic reforms in Armenia and the importance of cooperation and support from like-minded partners on this path. In this context, Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia values its close cooperation with Sweden, as well as with other EU member states, in developing democratic institutions and strengthening the country's capacities.

Mirzoyan and Dousa also exchanged views on regional developments. In this context, Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the EU observer mission in Armenia as a factor contributing to the maintenance of stability in the current situation.

Mirzoyan also noted that Armenia has adopted an agenda aimed at resolving relations with its neighbors and establishing stable peace in the South Caucasus, which, in turn, could create favorable conditions for regional economic development and the effective integration of regional communications into the West-East logistics network. -0-
