YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. The findings of a public opinion poll show that some 41% of the surveyed residents of Armenia expect France to provide their country with military and political support.

The telephone poll was conducted by the Armenian Officwe of GALLUP International Association from November 1 to November 4 and involved 1000 respondents across Armenia.

According to the findings, some 23% expect assistance from the United States, 21.3% from India, 18.7% from Iran, 14.4% from Russia and 1.8% from China.

The head of the Armenian Office of Gallup International Association Aram Navasardyan said at a press conference today that 7.1% of the respondnets named other countries as a source of potential military and political assistance, while 15.7% said there was no such country and 10.7% found it difficult to answer this question. -0-
