YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. Anti-government demonstrators in Armenia, led by two opposition parliament-represented alliances- Hayastan and Pativ Unem- have blocked all four entrances to the Yerevan Municipality, demanding that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan resigns.

"We are blocking the municipality, the building has four entrances, I propose that we block all of them. We stated that we will block state buildings at our discretion. Our task is not to enter the building, but to block the entrances. Nikol (Pashinyan) has turned the Yerevan Municipality into his tavern, putting pressure on employees. We will show (Pashinyan) what real pressure is," an opposition leader Ishkhan Saghatelyan told hundreds of pro-opposition activists.

He called on the Municipality employees to join their civil disobedience campaign. Saghatelyan also urged the police not to provoke clashes, because, according to him, the rally is exclusively peaceful.

The opposition accuses Pashinyan of plans to give away all of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan after he told lawmakers last month that the "international community calls on Armenia to scale down demands on Karabakh". -0-
