YEREVAN, September 26. /ARKA/. All the three ministers in the current coalition Armenian government from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/ Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) party will retain their jobs, Aghvan Vardanyan, a senior member of the party, said to a news conference today.

According to him, two of them, David Lokyan, the acting minister of territorial administration and development and Levon Mkrtchyan, the acting minister of education and science, will continue in their current positions, while economy minister Artsvik Minasyan will be appointed as nature protection minister.

Vardanyan said that the new prime minister Karen Karapetyan would like to see the post of economy minister to be taken by a businessman, ‘while Minasyan, who is perfectly aware of the economic and political situation in the country, has no relation to businesses.’

"The prime minister is determined to struggle against the shadow economy and to create a level playing field for all businesses. We see his commitment to implement these goals, and we hope that he will succeed,' Vardanyan said.

Vardanyan ruled out the possibility of the collapse of the coalition government formed by the Republican Party of Armenia and the ARF. The Armenian parliament was to  discuss at an extraordinary meeting today the proposed structural changes in the government, including abolition of a ministry and renaming of several others.-0-
