Armenia and Iran sign documents on cooperation in a number of areas

Armenia and Iran signed a number of documents on Tuesday in Yerevan as part of the official visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a joint statement.

YEREVAN, August 19. /ARKA/. Armenia and Iran signed a number of documents on Tuesday in Yerevan as part of the official visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a joint statement.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi signed a memorandum on political consultations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Iran for 2025-2027.

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and Iranian Vice President, Co-Chair of the Armenian-Iranian Joint Intergovernmental Commission Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi signed a Memorandum of Understanding “On cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Armenia and the National Organization for Standardization of Iran in the fields of standardization, accreditation, conformity assessment, metrology, and technical regulation.”

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri signed a Memorandum of Understanding “On Cooperation in the Field of Tourism” between their departments.

Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and IR Ministry of Mines and Mining Industry Minister Seyed Mohammad Atabak signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the IR Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare in the field of vocational education and training for 2025-2029.

The Head of the Armenian Committee on Urban Development, Yegiaz Vardanyan, and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Farzaneh Sadeghi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding “On Cooperation in the Field of Urban Development and Construction” between their departments.

Armenian Deputy Minister of Health Armen Gasparyan and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of medical product regulation between the Expert Center for Medicines and Medical Technologies of the Armenian Ministry of Health and the Food and Drug Administration of the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education.

Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Armenia Artur Stepanyan and Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Leadership Rayed Faridzade signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Archives of Armenia and the National Library and Archives of Iran.

Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Hakobyan and Head of the Center for Public Diplomacy and International Relations of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran Mojatollah Ayubi signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Library of Armenia and the National Library and Archives of Iran.

Director of the Armenian History Museum David Poghosyan and Head of the Center for Public Diplomacy and International Relations of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mojatolla Ayubi signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the History Museum of Armenia and the National Museum of Iran.

Director of the Film Fund David Banuchyan and Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Leadership Rayed Faridzade signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Film Fund of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Leadership.-0-
