Armenia looks to expand bilateral ties with US - Pashinyan
YEREVAN, February 4. /ARKA/. The establishment of a strategic partnership, as outlined in the document (Charter) signed between Armenia and the United States, opens new opportunities for expanding bilateral ties. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting in Washington with the leadership of the Armenian Assembly of America (one of the largest Armenian-American lobbying organizations).
Pashinyan expressed hope that the Assembly would continue its efforts to expand ties across various fields, according to the press service of the Armenian government.
The meeting focused on issues related to the activities of the Armenian Assembly of America, as well as the consistent development and promotion of Armenian-American relations.
An exchange of views also took place on the ideology of the real Armenia, as well as on ensuring peace and stability in the region.
On a new stage in the Armenian-American dialogue
The Charter on Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States was signed on January 14, 2025, in Washington.
The document sets out new areas of cooperation in the fields of economics and energy, security and defense, as well as strengthening democracy, justice, and inclusiveness.
