Armenia Ratifies Amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty on Anti-Dumping Measures

At its session on Wednesday, the National Assembly of Armenia ratified the protocol "On Amending the Part Concerning the Special Mechanism for Conducting Investigations and Making Decisions on the Application or Non-Application of Special Protective, Anti-Dumping, and Compensatory Measures" to the May 29, 2014, Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
YEREVAN, October 22. /ARKA/. At its session on Wednesday, the National Assembly of Armenia ratified the protocol "On Amending the Part Concerning the Special Mechanism for Conducting Investigations and Making Decisions on the Application or Non-Application of Special Protective, Anti-Dumping, and Compensatory Measures" to the May 29, 2014, Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated that a special agreement of the Eurasian Economic Union on anti-dumping issues was concluded on May 29, 2014, establishing special rules for all countries. Another amendment was proposed for December 26, 2024, in St. Petersburg.
The main objective of the protocol is to amend the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union to improve the mechanisms for applying special protective, anti-dumping, and countervailing measures within the EAEU.
The protocol establishes a special mechanism for conducting investigations and making decisions on the application or non-application of the above measures.
