Armenia's involvement in the CIS is mutually beneficial, bringing advantages both to the country and to the union.
YEREVAN, December 25. /ARKA/. Armenia's involvement in the CIS is mutually beneficial, bringing advantages both to the country and to the union. This is how Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov responded to a question about Yerevan's role in the Commonwealth amidst challenges in other formats, TASS reports.
"Our Armenian colleagues do not participate in the CSTO, having suspended their involvement. Nevertheless, Armenia remains a very important participant in both the EAEU and the CIS. Both Armenia and the Armenian people gain significant benefits from this participation. So, this is a two-way street: both the CIS and our Armenian friends are interested in this," the Kremlin representative explained.
