YEREVAN, November 23. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan, with its demands to Armenia, either seeks to drive the negotiation process into a deadlock or genuinely has certain concerns, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Friday.

"Considering the negotiation process and the progress that has been made, we operate under the assumption that Azerbaijan does not intend to deliberately drive the negotiation process into a deadlock. We are also trying to allay existing concerns by consistently presenting various arguments and reasoning," Pashinyan said in an interview with Armenia's Public Television.

However, as the head of the Armenian government noted, official Yerevan also has its own concerns.

"The Constitution of Azerbaijan contains territorial claims against the Republic of Armenia. However, unlike Baku, Yerevan does not demand changes to their Constitution, as it fully understands that such demands could lead the negotiation process into a deadlock. The Armenian side is not interested in this," Pashinyan said. -0-
