Armenia and Azerbaijan offered to complete work on peace treaty at "3+3" platform - Russian FM
YEREVAN, October 18. /ARKA/. Moscow, Ankara and Tehran suggested that Yerevan and Baku use the "3+3" platform to complete work on a peace treaty, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following a meeting of the "3+3" platform (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia - Russia, Turkey, Iran) on the South Caucasus in Istanbul today, TASS reported.
"We, the Turks and the Iranians offered our colleagues from Yerevan and Baku to use the "3+3" platform to complete work on a peace treaty," the minister said.
Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, Turkey and Iran met today for the 3rd gathering of the platform. The previous two were held in Moscow and Tehran. Georgia refused to join the platform and ignored all the meetings.-0-
